Garden Edging
All your edging needs met
Edging separates the lawn area from your garden beds. It helps give your garden a neater look. There are many different types of edging to suit your requirements. Browes below and contact Roxbourgh Park Garden Supplies with your requirements.
Jarrah Edging - This is the most common and cheapest form of edging coming in lengths of 4.8m. You can use timber pegs which are nailed to the timber, or steel clips which clip over the top. * Also available in treated pine
Sleepers - Easy to install. Available in redgum, treated pine and concrete. The standard length is 2.4m long, but other lengths are available.
Bluestones - Traditional style, excellent for formal gardens. Little bit more work but worth the effort. Approx 3 bluestones required per lineal metre. Should be placed on a concrete footing.

4 Way Mix - A basic mix for the home gardener on a budget
6 Way Mix - A mid-range soil suitable for planting & starting a new lawn
8 Way Mix - A rich soil that is suitable for most trees & shrubs
Peat Soil - A screened soil for native gardens
Loam - A sandy soil for new lawns & top dressing existing lawns
Supa Soil - It's got the lot. Our premium soil mix ideal for all applications - lawns, garden beds, top dressing, vegetable patches. The most popular soil for those who want the best.
Mushroom Compost - A fantastic soil improver for roses and vegetable garden beds. Rich in organic matter mushroom compost should always be mixed in with your existing soil - never applied as a mulch.
Potting Mix - In addition to stocking both budget and premium potting mixes by the bag, we also stock a general line potting mix by the cubic metre.
Irrigation
Sprinkler Installation - Installing a sprinkler system saves you valuable time and isn't that hard when you are guided by an expert.
Come in with a rough plan or sketch of your property clearly marking garden areas and distances and we can work out exactly what you will need. You will be surprised at how inexpensive in can be.
Pebbles/Stones
Pebbles have become an increasingly popular alternative to mulch. As well as looking great and easy to maintain, they don't deteriorate. Looks fantastic in garden beds, around swimming pools or a quick restoration around that dead end area of the house. We are always endeavouring to locate new lines. | Crushed Quartz | Crushed quartz is one of the only white stones available in bulk. It looks fantatastic in contemporary and modern gardens, japanese gardens, and in pots, the white colour providing a unique contrast. |  |
| Flintstones Small | These look fabulous in tropical gardens and around swimming pools giving your home that beach-side resort feel. |  |
| 20mm Pebble | These 20mm pebbles offer a mixture of differing shades of white and grey. |  |
| Torquay 14mm ** Best Seller | Torquay pebbles would have to be one of our best sellers. A creamy beige colour, these pebbles absolutely look stunning in any garden situation. |  |
| Flintstones Large | Want to be the envy of your neighbours? These large pebbles have to be seen to be believed. A feature in themselves. your garden will stand out from the rest. |  |
| Ungraded Pebbles | Colours a mixture of whites and greys with varying sizes. |  |
| Torquay 20mm | Also extremely popular, Torquay 20mm pebble offers the same colour as the 14mm but is a slightly larger size. |  |
| Urban Stone | A 20mm tan coloured stone, providing modern and fresh look for garden with the added feature of easy maintenance. |  |
| Polished | Imported pebbles only available in bags and buckets. Highly decorative for pots or place between pavers for a stunning look. |  |
Mulches
Why Mulches
Mulching helps suppress weeds, prevent soil erosion and retain moisture in your garden beds. Basically all mulches do the same job, it's simply a matter of personal prefence as to which one you choose. Factors which may influence your choice include the colour of your house & plant selection
| Black Mulch | Another mulch made from recycled timber but coloured with a black dye. |  |
| Pine Bark 10mm | Another old favourite 10mm bark looks very natural. A smaller graded mulch it looks excellent in ferneries, cottage gardens, rose beds & native gardens. |  |
| Pine Bark 20mm | An old favourite of many gardeners, 20mm pine bark will give a more natural look in any garden situation. |  |
| Red Mulch (coloured) | A finer mulch made from recycled timber and coloured with a red food dye. The colour will hold much longer and won't fade as quickly as pine mulches. |  |
| Red Mulch Large (coloured) | A red dyed mulch again holding it's colour longer than others. The colour really stands out when used with plants that have a deep green or dark coloured foliage. |  |
| Softfall | Softfall is specifically manufactured to use in childrens playgrounds. It is widely used by schools and kindergardens. |  |
| Terracotta Chips | Terracotta Chips are a dyed chip and have recently replaced the traditional red gum chips. Very similar in size it has become more popular as it holds colour a lot longer. |  |
Pathways and Driveways
The following products are available in display areas of our nursery. Come in and check out how it will actually look in your pathway or driveway.
| Lilydale Toppings | A compacting crushed limestone giving a professional modern finish to driveways and pathways. The natural bonding quality in the limestone enables the toppings to hold together, so once laid it stays in place. Easy to install. Ask us for a how to lay brochure. |  |
| Tuscan Toppings | A compacting crushed sandstone applied in the same way as lilydale but providing an alternative colour. |  |
| Crushed Scoria, 5mm | A very fine crushed red rock. Compacting easily it's mostly used for those pathways and driveways where you want the colour to stand out. |  |
| Concrete Slabs | Try this for a fantastic looking pathway. Use concrete pavers as stepping stones and fill the gaps with mondo grass. Alternatively the gaps can be filled with pebbles. We stock square plain and coloured pavers in 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm & 600mm sizes. For something a little bit more unique we have a 400mm granite paver. |  |
| Crushed Rock | 20mm stone particles compacting and used as a base for driveways and pathways. Whilst not as attractive, crushed rock serves as an interim measure to suppress the mud. |  |
Sleepers
Timber Sleepers
Sleepers are commonly used in garden edging and retaining walls. We stock both redgum and treated pine sleepers in the following sizes.
